GRIDS2023: FROM ASYMPTOMATIC TO SEVERE, THE VARIABILITY IN LYSOSOMAL STORAGE DISORDERS: INTEGRATING THE BASICS WITH CURRENT CLINICAL PRACTICES.
Live symposium at Salamander Middleburg, VIRGINIA, USA
NOVEMBER 19th - 20th, 2023
Lysosomal disorders pose significant challenges for therapy due to their complex nature and phenotypic variability. However, advancements in understanding lysosomal biology have shed light on their dynamic role in cellular functions and the development of pathology. With the emergence of novel technologies such as gene therapy and genome editing, diagnostic advancements, biomarkers and companion diagnostics, the field is rapidly evolving. The Genetic, Rare and Immune Disorders Symposium (GRIDS) 2023 aims to bring together clinicians, researchers, and advocacy groups to exchange knowledge, promote collaboration, and enhance the diagnosis and treatment of lysosomal disorders, ultimately improving the lives of patients.
